Ethereum Foundation members are calling for participants to upgrade nodes as the Muir Glacier hard fork looms. This update was particularly controversial, releasing on what some consider to be a “global holiday,” the first day of the new year. Muir Glacier only contains one EIP which postpones the ‘Difficulty Bomb’ which slows down potential hash rates.
Cash App posted a job listing on LinkedIn, first noticed by The Block, which implies that they need help adding limit orders, recurring purchases and gifting features to their Bitcoin platform. Listed in the job description, they are looking for a Product Manager for crypto investing.
According to Twitter users, Coinbase is alerting people through their Wallet app that they might be roving DApp browser functionality from iOS devices. Apparently, their DApp services are against the iOS App Store’s terms of service. Coinbase recommends that users use the desktop Coinbase Wallet in order to continue using the services.
Today, Udi Wertheimer pointed out that the Founder of Etherum, Vitalik Buterin sent 90,000 Eth to his ENS address which is not anonymous and public for the world to see. Granted, Wertheimer is a “Bitcoiner” who is often critical of Ethereum, he makes an objectively good point.
Shortly before Christmas, a video went viral of Mark Cuban comparing Bitcoin to bananas and saying that is is too complicated for 99.99 percent of people. The video came from a Wired interview in September after a fan asked him, “why the hate for crypto?”
